Join us for another exciting workshop where educators,scientists, resource managers, and the public can interact and learn about the Great Lakes.
This workshop will focus on the biology and the ecological relationships of the Great Lakes!
There will be 5 outstanding keynote presentations over these two weeks. Interact with the presenters and other experts, as well as other participants. As well, this is an excellent chance to gain new resources for learning more about these topics.
Our first 2 ONLINE WORKSHOPS (below) were a great success - when you register above you will automatically have access to all the content of these past workshop! The Great Lakes Rock! January 27 - February 8, 2008
The workshop focus was about 6 main topics related to the Great Lakes region:
The solid earth system,
The bedrock and formation of the Great Lakes [including the upper and lower lakes],
Life & Rocks
Current geological processes,
Human impacts [vice-versa!], and
Ocean/lake deep exploration (sink holes, underwater archeology, NOAA's exploration book) studying the bottom, characteristics of the water at depth.

The workshop focus was:
Inland Seas Environment and Education as it relates to the Great Lakes region.
